Magnetic (Hall effect) switches in stock

Magnetic switches carry a magnet in the stem, and a Hall effect keyboard measures how far each key is pressed. That allows adjustable actuation and rapid trigger. They only work in Hall effect keyboards and will not register in a standard mechanical PCB.

What to check before you buy

  • Check compatibility with your keyboard: magnet strength and polarity differ between switch families.
  • Most HE boards need recalibration after you swap switches.
  • Compare price per switch; magnetic switches cost more than mechanical ones.
  • Linear magnetic switches are the norm; tactile magnetic options are rare.
