Description

Intro Virtuoso keycaps translate synthesizer aesthetics into mechanical keyboard form. The set draws from Teenage Engineering's design philosophy where electronic instruments become artistic tools. The restrained palette uses whites and grays as the foundation, with orange modifiers marking key functions and warm beige novelties referencing vintage analog gear. The music-inspired novelties feature custom icons representing elements of electronic music production, such as waveforms, oscillators, speakers, knobs, buttons and various symbols from the OP-1 Field, which also influenced the colour scheme of the keycap set. Unlike conventional PBT, this unique blend produces a clearer, crisper sound, giving it a Hi-Fi quality. The keycap thickness is approximately 1.3mm, and the surface texture offers a skin-like feel, distinctly different from our dual-color surface.
