PBTFans Teal & Orange

Description

Inspiration The inspiration behind PBTFans Teal & Orange comes from the teal-and-orange color grading widely used in cinematography, combined with the fact that these have become two of the most popular colors in the mechanical keyboard hobby in recent years. My goal with this set was to select RAL and Pantone color standards that best showcase the full potential of both colors while splitting the concept into two complementary versions: a Light Base Kit and a Dark Base Kit, each paired with its own translucent accent keys. For the base colors of both kits (with the exception of the GMK 2M color used in the Light Base Kit), I chose to use RAL standards: RAL Teal Blue and RAL Teal Dark Blue. For the legends, I opted for Pantone Nylon Brights (the same ones used in GMK CYL Hi! Viz and other "neon" sets), specifically Pantone Shocking Orange and Pantone Orange Pop. This combination provides strong contrast while making the set versatile and easy to pair with many of today's keyboard colors. Furthermore, if you pick up both Base Kits and/or multiple Translucent Accents Kits, you'll be able to create a wide variety of fun mix-and-match combinations. The kitting has been optimized to avoid the need for additional child kits beyond the Numpad Kit while still offering broad compatibility with the most commonly used layouts.
